The school day begins at 9am and finishes at 3pm for children in Kindergarten to Year 6. There is supervision in the Junior and Senior playground area from 8.45am for children in Kindergarten to Year 6. There is supervision for children after school in the Lyneham Primary School bus waiting area until 3.20pm for children in Kindergarten to Year 6. We ask that parents and carers deliver their children to preschool and collect from preschool in the afternoon. At this stage, after school care for preschool aged children is not provided at Lyneham Primary.
We encourage children and our teachers to regularly drink water throughout the day. For ten minutes of each play break, the children are supervised eating in their classrooms.

8.45am to 2.45pm sessions - play and eating breaks are scheduled to meet the needs of the children optimizing both indoor and outdoor play.
