Lyneham Primary School students participate in performance art classes with Rob and Tatum, as part of the curriculum. Classes take place in either the purpose-built dance studio or the Hall which enables the use of a stage and sound system. The classes are designed to develop students’ fundamental movement skills, performance skills, making skills and responding skills as well as promote students’ fitness, well being and social inclusion.
An extension of the Performing Arts is available for students to volunteer in extra curriculum activities. This is in various forms from a Senior Production to The Talent Show.
We believe that the Performing Arts has the capacity to engage, inspire and enrich all students, exciting the imagination and encouraging students to reach their creative and expressive potential.
